FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for positions based in Dubai. We are looking for a UHPC Project Engineer/ Manager working for a large engineering construction company. This role focuses on the design, development and application of ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) for a variety of structural projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design and test new UHPC formulations, focusing on performance characteristics such as strength, durability, and workability.
- - Collaborate with design teams to ensure material specifications are met.
- - Conduct experiments to evaluate the properties of UHPC and its behaviour under various conditions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- - Work closely with structural engineers, architects, and construction teams to integrate UHPC solutions into project designs.
- - Establish and implement quality control procedures for UHPC production and application, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- - Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation related to UHPC projects, including research findings and project updates.
- - Provide technical support and training to production staff on UHPC handling and processing.
Skills and Qualifications for the UHPC Project Manager role
- - Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- - Over 5 years of experience in concrete technology, materials engineering, or a related field, with specific experience in UHPC preferred.
- - Strong understanding of concrete properties, mix design, and testing methodologies; familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- - Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovation and optimisation.
- - Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
