Key Details:
Position: Senior Energy Project Developer/Lead
Contract Type: Long-term, with opportunities for career development and company shares
Salary Package: Up to £100,000+, negotiable based on experience
Location: Edinburgh, with travel across the UK (onshore and offshore experience beneficial)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with approximately one week per month travel for client visits
Responsibilities:
- Promote existing and new project developments and investments
- Identify and pursue new investment opportunities in onshore wind, hydrogen, and other clean energies
- Drive the investment mandate and monitor project developments
- Oversee project budgets and programs from initial development to completion
- Evaluate project opportunities and propose development strategies
- Provide performance and investment risk reports to the CEO and board
- Collaborate with in-house financial analysts and external advisors
Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of energy sector value drivers (regulation, pricing, financing, technologies)
- Proven track record in successful project development
- Ability to engage effectively with partners, advisors, regulators, etc.
- Knowledge of various energy projects and investment structures
- Experience in developing and managing clean energy projects
- Relevant degree (economics, engineering); post-graduate business degree desirable
