FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Senior Procurement Buyer. This is a permanent position hybrid (home/office working ) with 2/3 days based on Site at either Warwick or in Wokingham. There will be some travel within the region between the two locations. Salary range £50,000 to £59,000 plus bonus, company pension and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Lead on the tender process service contracts for external energy suppliers
- Project manage and procurement lead from initial requirement /market engagement though to contract award and handover.
- Managing a tender team delivering outcomes for energy bill payers and the energy market
- Team management with key project management of documentation and project plans and reporting
- Supporting the procurement manager in driving value through quality tender documentation and forecasting efficiencies.
- Collate data and other performance metrics, providing analysis and feedback to internal Managers
Skills and Experience required for the Senior Procurement/Buyer position:
- Experience of working with large infrastructure, have Utilities Contract UCR, and Procurement contract PCR background
- Experience of working within a regulated procurement organisation
- Previous experience in working within large energy, utilities or network/infrastructure
- Comprehensive experience in the management of tendering large events
- Experience of major infrastructure procurement, regulated procurement, and/ or energy markets is desirable.
- Experience of supply chain management experience in complex environments
