FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a Quality Manager position with an established and progressive engineering business based in Northamptonshire, who are involved with specialist surface materials engineering. This is a permanent position, salary negotiable by experience plus benefits. A senior role being responsible for implementing and continuous improvement of the Quality Management system. Working to ISO9001 and AS9100 standards. You will be part of a small team of Senior Managers for operational delivery and success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the quality inspection department, leading staff and ensuring quality is integrated into all operational areas of the business
- Contract reviews and approvals and control of documentation for internal and external specifications and standards
- Raising process concessions with suppliers and customers and signing off internal, supplier and customer non-conformance reports
- Undertaking internal and external audits
- Team leadership and mentoring, training for staff
Skills and Experience required for the Quality Manager role:
- Experience of internal and external audits within an engineering organisation
- Hold an Internal Audit certification
- Familiar and experienced with ISO9001 standards an essential and AS9100 knowledge/experience is an advantage
