We are recruiting for a Quality Inspector for a specialist engineering business with a global reach. This is a permanent position, salary negotiable by experience plus benefits, based in Northamptonshire. Working Monday to Friday full time/ day hours, working on site. You will be part of a Quality Management team assisting with the day to day quality management processes and systems. You will enjoy working in a fast paced engineering environment, and working inline with ISO9001 and AS9100 accreditations.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all documentation and processing is compliant with customer requirements adhering to internal good practices and process standards
- Monitoring key elements relating to process quality and maintaining records
- Undertaking internal quality audits, contribute to audit preparation and participate in regular external audits, working in line with ISO9001 standards
- Quality Inspection at all process stages from process approval, masking, and final inspection ready for product dispatch
Skills and Experience required for the Quality Inspector role:-
- Experience of working in an engineering environment supporting and lead for quality audits
- Experience of working to ISO9001 standards and knowledge of AS9100 would be beneficial
- Having worked in a quality role in automotive or aerospace sectors or similar engineering environments
