FINTEC recruit is supporting a successful marine business in recruiting a QHSE Manager. This is a permanent position based in Middlesbrough. Salary is commensurate with experience and discussed on application. Working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m finish 2:30 p.m. on Fridays, overtime available, paid on enhanced rates. The focus for this role is managing the company quality management system and ensuring compliance and standards are met across the business in meeting ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 standards.
Responsibilities:
- To manage and run an integrated quality management system
- Managing compliance and ISO accreditations across the business
- Develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance across the company
- Promote QHSE initiatives
- Manage QSHE processes and procedures, liaison with Auditors in maintaining ISO accreditations
- Produce QHSE monthly statistics, identify trends, communicate safety alerts
- Liaise with onsite management, customers, supply chain, providing QHSE support and advice as required.
Skills and Experience required for the QHSE Manager role:
- Hold relevant certifications in NEBOSH and ISO Accreditations
- ISO Auditor certification /experience with ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
- Experience of working in a marine, construction or similar business
- Experience of implementing and managing Quality Management systems is essential
- Good communication skills
