FINTEC recruit is seeking a Production Technician for our manufacturing client based in Irvine.
This is a permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Starting salary is £12.80 per hour + overtime rates and bonus structure.
Responsibilities:
- As a Production operative you’ll be working with raw materials through to fully assembled, tested and packaged finished goods
- Working in line with daily production schedules in assembling products using hand tools and basic soldering
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Picking, packing, labelling, and preparing finished goods and managing raw material and component stock levels
- Completing daily production reports
Skills and Experience required for the Production Operator role:
- Basic soldering skills (or willingness to learn)
- Experience using hand tools
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude
- Strong team player with a flexible approach
- Ability to follow processes and maintain quality standards with strong attention to detail
- Previous production or workshop experience desirable but not essential
- Able to undertake manual lifting and handling tasks
- Good Microsoft systems skills

Required Certifications
• Manual Handling Certification
• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
