FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for a National Account Manager for a national retailer based in Nottingham. Salary negotiable by experience up to circa £60,000 plus car allowance. You will be developing relationships with key retailers such as John Lewis, Selfridges, Harrods and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management: Manage and grow relationships with major national retail accounts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize profitability within the FMCG sector.
Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations, promotional planning, and joint business planning sessions with key accounts.
Forecasting & Analysis: Monitor market trends, analyse sales data, and provide accurate sales forecasts to optimize account performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of account plans.
Customer Insights: Utilize customer insights and market data to drive category growth and recommend product innovations.
Reporting: Regularly report on account performance, providing actionable insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in account management within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of success.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to derive insights from sales data.
Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Travel: Willingness to travel as required.
