FINTEC recruit is seeking a Management Accountant for our engineering client based in Highland region. This is a permanent position, office based. You will be working with internal departments within the UK and with the European Finance team, reporting to the Director of Finance.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing month end and annual year end accounts & reports
- Preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Monitoring capital project spend and completion reviews
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
- Training and support within the wider finance teams.
- Be driven and proactive in working within a fast paced international business environment
Skills and experience required for the Management Accountant role:
- Qualified Accountant, finance professional with a proven track record within a Management Accountancy role or similar,
- Experience of working with financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Advanced excel skills - ability to manipulate data for financial analysis (including pivot tables and lookups) Good IT skills
- Desirable, Microsoft Dynamics AX, product costing & running SOX and internal control audits – not an essential
