FINTEC recruit is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our industrial/Manufacturing client based in Highland region, Scotland. This is a permanent position, generous remuneration package & benefits, discussed on application. This is working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with an on call requirement on rota. Responsibilities:
- Ensuring processes, systems, equipment and resources are all maintained, developed in meeting plant management priorities for asset improvement and reliability while maintaining safe & legal compliance
- Leading a team to ensure all work is planned, scheduled, and completed in agreed timescales. Manage, coach and develop a high performing maintenance team.
- Review and improving site operational effectiveness, project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction.
- Management and implementation of continuous improvement with modern manufacturing principles, Developing & implementing key performance indications
Experience and Qualifications required for the Maintenance Manager role:
- Time served Engineer with an Electrical/Mechanical/Electronic discipline.
- BS degree (or Equivalent) in an engineering discipline time served & experience at maintenance manager level
- Industrial experience within manufacturing, engineering and procurement/supply chain.
- Experience managing Profit and loss responsibilities for maintenance.
Desirable (not an essential)
- Membership of (or working towards) an appropriate professional body such as the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (nice to have).
- High voltage experience; PLC knowledge ; Hydraulics, Pneumatics knowledge ; • Pressure vessels; Thermal oil.
