We're seeking a proactive and dynamic Internal Account Manager to enhance our client’s sales efforts and customer relationships. In this permanent role based in Kilmarnock, you'll collaborate with External Salespersons and the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets, explore growth opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships. Working Monday to Friday 08:00 am. To 4:30 p.m. office based. base salary is up to £35,000 with OTE /bonus up to £40,000 negotiable depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow-up with customers for regular orders to meet spend targets daily.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers through scheduled touchpoints, including Teams meetings and face-to-face appointments for External Salespersons, on a daily basis.
- Book onsite meetings and trials for External Salespersons as needed on a daily basis.
- Oversee growth and retention projects with customers, developing and implementing strategies
- Handle inquiries above a certain value, obtaining costs from procurement, and following through to an order as required.
- Assist in building quality presentations for business development or account processes on behalf of External Salespersons weekly.
- Attend 1-1s with the Sales Manager to maintain accountability to targets and objectives weekly.
- Manage customers' pricing in line with the company price list, passing through increases where required, and resolving objections as needed.
- Assist Customer Services in resolving queries for your accounts occasionally.
