We are supporting recruitment for Industrial Painter/Blasters for projects based in Barrow in Furness, Cumbria. This work is ongoing contracting 12 on 2 off, Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. O/T available. Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. O/T available. Saturday & Sunday enhanced O/T rates paid. Night shift base rate starts at circa £30 p.hour,further details on application
Starting on day shift with an opportunity to transfer to nightshift with enhanced rates. Basic standard rate £21.50 per hour, (lodge allowance included in the rate)
Responsibilities:
- Working as part of a Team of Industrial Painter/Blasters on shipping projects
Skills and experience required
- Experience of commercial or industrial painting ideally on construction, refurbishment or shipping/marine projects
- 2 years experience withing the industry and have experience working within a shipyard environment
- To hold TPP - Silver or Gold Level Certificates an advantage
- Able to pass UK security clearance
