FINTEC recruit is seeking a Health & Safety Adviser for a construction consultancy business based in Hertfordshire. This is a permanent position with salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus vehicle & benefits. You will have experience working in construction projects, in particular safety solutions for retail/commercial outlets. Working Monday to Friday, this role offers some flexible working; 1 day home based others are travelling to customer sites across Hertfordshire and London.
Responsibilities:
- Experience of construction related projects (retail modifications/refurbishments)
- Health & Safety compliance on construction sites
- Conduct Risk Assessments & investigating accidents/issues
- Create and implement health and safety policies.
Skills & Experience required for the Health & Safety Advisor role:
- Experience in health and safety, occupational health and accident investigation
- Experience in Safety training and Environmental health and safety (EHS)
- Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and regulations
- Must hold a NEBOSH Diploma level 6, IOSH qualification
- Good IT skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel around Hertfordshire/London
