FINTEC recruit is recruiting for an Associate Director Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA); a role that can be based either in Edinburgh, Manchester or Oxford. Salary negotiable by experience plus car allowance and benefits. This role is working for a leading environmental consultancy where you will be directing for a range of projects which include NSIPs and large scale renewable energy developments such as offshore wind, solar and energy storage projects. In this role you will be working with major industry clients contributing to the UK’s net zero ambitions. Responsibilities:
• Managing multi-discipline teams, liaise with stakeholders, manage relationships while ensuring compliance on regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing large EIA projects
• Mentoring and supporting junior staff.
• Working alongside industry experts in a multidisciplinary environment
Skills and Experience required for the Associate Director EIA role:-
• Experience of managing large EIA projects, including Development Consent Order (DCO) submissions
• Knowledge of EIA regulations and planning Act, with a proven track record of delivering compliance submissions
• Skilled at managing complex stakeholder relationships
• Hold a relevant degree in an environmental discipline; a post graduate qualification in EIA, Environment Management or similar desirable
• Have experience with residential infrastructure and renewable energy infrastructure project such as offshore wind, substations & solar farms
• Familiar with digital EIA techniques and innovations
There will be comprehensive learning and development programmes, which include leadership and management training.
