Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week, Monday to Thursday: 8:05 AM to 4:45 PM, Friday: 8:05 AM to 12:05 PM

FINTEC Recruit is partnering with an international engineering client in Dunbartonshire to find a Ships Combat Systems Electrical Fitter. While Combat Systems experience is a plus, it's not an essential requirement. This is your chance to join a dynamic team and work on cutting-edge projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical fitting activities, repairs, and inspections on various systems and equipment.
- Execute planned preventative maintenance in line with established processes.
- Contribute ideas to enhance systems and processes for increased productivity.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a marine/engineering environment is highly desirable. Experience with submarine combat systems, especially submarine command/sonar systems, is desirable, not an dessential
- Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and fault finding abilities.
- Ability to produce high-quality work to meet rigorous acceptance standards.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and Safe Systems of Work.
- Excellent team working and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Recognized Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship qualification, preferably to SVQ Level 3 (or NVQ and C&G equivalent).
- HNC and above in an Electrical Engineering discipline with industry experience.
