FINTEC recruit is supporting hiring for a contract Commissioning Manager for an electronics systems infrastructure project within the nuclear sector, based in West Berkshire, duration through to March 2026. Salary/rate negotiable based on experience (Inside IR35/paye). You will currently hold UK SC or DV clearance or able to pass this.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee security systems and coordinate commissioning of security infrastructure/control systems
- To advise on safety requirements for all commissioning aspects
- Oversee commissioning of work packages while managing suppliers
- Plan and track commissioning tests & assist with development of the construction schedule
- Be the lead for reviews with all stakeholders, manage changes to schedules, resources and forecasts
Skills & Experience required for the Commissioning Manager:-
- Degree qualified in engineering or equivalent with experience in commissioning
- Knowledge of electronic security systems eg card access control, CCTV, IDS, PIDS, etc
- Experience of commissioning, testing, and planning methodologies
- Experience of technical aspects of security system design and functionality
- Hold UK SC or DV clearance or be able to pass
