FINTEC recruit is supporting recruitment for positions based in Dubai. We are looking for a CNC Supervisor (Composites or Metallic) working for a prestigious engineering/manufacturing company, where the role is supporting projects across architectural, marine, rail and energy sectors The company offer full sponsorship and ongoing assistance, help with accommodation, travel, flights etc. Salary for this role is depending on experience up to circa £65,000. The role is to lead and mentor a Team of CNC Machinists, implementing best practices and innovating solutions to enhance machining processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the CNC machining department, ensuring production targets are met while upholding quality and safety standards.
- Manage and mentor a team of CNC machinists, providing training, guidance, and support to enhance their performance.
- Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure finished products meet specifications.
- Coordinate with production teams to schedule jobs, manage workflow, and optimise machine utilisation.
- Ensure regular maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Identify and implement best practices to improve machining processes, efficiency, and product quality.
- Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety training.
- Maintain accurate production records and provide regular updates to management regarding performance metrics and issues.
Skills and Qualifications required for the CNC Supervisor role
- 5+ years of experience in CNC machining, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proficiency in CNC programming (e.g., G-code, M-code) and familiarity with CAD/CAM software.- Metallic or Composite background
- Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong focus on quality and precision in machining processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and management.
