Job Opportunity: Business Development Executive
Location: currently Glasgow (Office move to Kilmarnock planned in early 2024)
Salary: Base salary is up to £36,000 with OTE /bonus up to £40,000 negotiable depending on experience
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our clients team. There is a planned office relocation to Kilmarnock in early 2024 current work site currently is in Glasgow.. The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, trial bookings, and client follow-ups with our client a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, showcasing Business-to-Business (B2B) expertise. Working Monday to Friday office based working 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Experience of working in FMCG, food and beverage production companies is an advantage, not essential
Responsibilities:
- Conduct telemarketing calls daily to qualify prospects and schedule meetings
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets for Meetings Scheduled Index (MSI) and booked meetings.
- Provide accurate reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prospect interactions.
- Rigorously qualify all leads in alignment with company strategies and tactics.
- Warm up leads through effective follow-up on customer interactions via marketing emails and other media.
- Maintain a high-quality lead bank utilizing provided resources and creative initiative.
- Proactively qualify leads to deliver the highest-quality leads to the Sales Team.
- Follow up relentlessly and swiftly with customers, adapting communication methods as needed.
Skills and Experience for the Business Development Executive role:
- Excellent communication skills—literate, articulate, and numerate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar programs.
- Professional demeanor, self-awareness, and ability to think on your feet.
